Privacy at Criterion

Criterion maintains learner, training, organization, billing, and verification information so we can deliver education, preserve records, and operate the Training Portal responsibly.

Information we maintain

Depending on how you use Criterion, we may maintain account information, Criterion ID information, enrollment and completion records, training hours, certificates, employer or organization relationships, billing records, and technical information needed to secure and operate the service.

Organization access

Employers and organizations receive access only to records connected to their organization. Organization portals are designed so training, completion, and certificate information from unrelated employers is not exposed merely because the same learner uses one Criterion ID throughout their career.

Payments

Payment processing is handled through Stripe. Criterion does not need to store full payment card numbers in order to provide course purchasing, organization billing, or approved invoice terms.

Verification

Criterion may provide limited public verification of authorized training records using a Criterion ID or record identifier. Public verification is designed to confirm a record without exposing private account information.
